Welcome to Avilo. By visiting our website or purchasing our gear, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These apply to all users of the site.
1. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, or resell any part of our website, products, or brand identity without express written permission from us.
2. Products and Pricing
- Pricing: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change without notice.
- Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colours and specifications of our off-grid gear — including our portable showers, microfibre towels, and insulated flasks — as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will be perfectly accurate.
- Availability: We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any geographic region or jurisdiction. We may discontinue products at any time.
3. Orders and Billing
By placing an order, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us, particularly in the event of suspected fraud or unauthorised reseller activity.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We strive to ensure fast, reliable delivery for every order. While we offer express shipping, delivery times are estimates and depend on our courier partners. Avilo is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
5. Returns and Warranties
Your purchase is governed by our Return & Refund Policy. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for unused items in their original packaging, as well as a 6-month warranty on manufacturing defects. A R158 processing fee applies to warranty replacements to cover shipping and handling.
Items personalised with custom engraving are made to order and are final sale — they are not eligible for the money-back guarantee, returns, or exchanges.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our gear is built for life beyond the grid, but it must be used responsibly. Avilo, its directors, employees, or affiliates will not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of any of our products or the website.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
